I found this book to be Poulson’s best written book yet. He has a keen understanding of the back country, local law enforcement, and the clashes between environmentalist philosophies and ranching realities. No matter one’s views on these issues, this compelling story highlights the complexity of a very modern issue.
I loved this book, It was one of his better books.Although i do enjoy all his books.
I liked this book. It wasn’t my favorite but it was fun to read.
I also like that the main character has a normal “cool” name, Matthew. I have a hard time believing in characters who are supposed to be 30 or 40 when the book is written having the creatively spelled or created names of today…
