Title and Cover

All the stories have been posted. While you’re waiting for voting to start, we’re having a sub-contest.

This book needs a title and a cover.

Leave suggestions for titles in the comments of this post. I’ll pick the winner.

If you are a graphic artist and would like to be considered to design the cover, please send sample of your work and a brief descriptions of what you’d plan. (I know, this is hard to do before the title is chosen, but do your best.)

Both winners will receive the same prizes as the story winners—acknowledgments, brief bio, free electronic copy of the book.

  1. You could call it "A Christmas Candle" and then put this quote on the first page to explain the idea (or expand it so that the idea is reflected in the first story.)

    A Christmas candle is a lovely thing;
It makes no noise at all,
    But softly gives itself away.
    ~Eva Logue

  2. What about "Wild and Sweet" from "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day." If you had a bell, would people get it?

  3. Personally, I think it would be nice if the title of the winning story was the title of the book. Something like, [Title of story} and Other Stories of the Season.

    Just my two cents

  4. I think Angie's suggestion is a good one. Here's another to consider: "The Christmas Collage" since it's composed of a group of stories.

  5. How about "Shimmers of the Yuletide." The cover would show a girl (or boy) reading a book with shimmery/silvery pages. And the picture would be kind of artsy, not too much like a photograph and have Christmas decor about her.

  6. Maybe "Yuletide Treasure" (from one of the verses of Deck the Halls)

Or perhaps just "Vote For My Story," since that's what everyone who entered is thinking when pondering this book.

Of course you could always make the title "LDSPublisher: unmasked" Now that would sell copies!!

  7. Title Suggestions:

Christmas Tales for a Cold Winter's Night

The Glow of Christmas: Stories to Warm Your Heart
