Taking a Mini-Vacation

I’m off to the LDStorymakers Writing Conference and the Whitney Gala. (I’ll be the one in the bright fuschia hat with the peacock feathers).

I’ll take good notes and post some highlights here next week.

Also, the Whitney people will be doing live blogging of the gala. Click HERE to register for a reminder and to watch the event live. Live blogging will begin at 6:30pm, Mountain Time, on April 25th, 2009.

I am an anonymous blogger who works in the LDS publishing industry. I blog about topics that help authors seeking publication and about published fiction by LDS authors.

  1. Are you kidding LDSP? No Whitney Gala for me. The Jazz won Thursday and play at home in game four Saturday night.

I pawned my gala tickets off to the highest bidder and about the time you’re begging O-Card for a photo op, I’ll be throwin’ back watching D-Will feed Boozer for a give and go slam dunk over the apeish arms of Pau Casol.

Enjoy the roasted lamb. I’m having the Lakers for dinner.

    Go Jazz!

PS: I hope you win best novel. Ha. I just gave you away. Sort of.

  2. In a good who-done-it, the answer to the LDSP mystery is: None of the five.

Enjoy the gala. You keep your LDSP mystery in tact and the awards move on to the 2009 version of who-done-it.

What are you going to do next year when the academy gives you a lifetime achievement award?

    Send Sandra?

  3. Sandra who?

And yes, you caught me. The only reason I do this blog is in the hopes that some day they’ll give me the lifetime achievement award.
