I loved this book! I loved the first book also “Tombs of Terror”. This book hits very close to my heart. I grew up listening to all the legends of the lost Rhodes mines. I spent many hours with my Dad and family searching for many mines and artifacts left by the Spanish and Native Americans. My Dad is gone now and this book kept me so caught up in the finding and searching of the lost gold that I could imagine myself and my Dad finding all the markings they did. I loved the story progression and the way the lives were intertwined. I loved the conclusion of the book. It wrapped up the story very nicely. I loved the loyalty to the Indian heritage and the way they protected each other. I can not wait for another book from this author. She is a great writer and a wonderful story teller. Thank you for giving me a wonderful memory to hold on to.
